Overview

Hilton Mechanical is a growing mechanical contractor specializing in industrial piping, skid fabrication, and equipment installation. They are seeking experienced Pipefitters to join their team, primarily focused on prefabricating plastic fusion piping spools in a controlled shop environment in Alpharetta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Prefabricate plastic fusion piping spools from isometric and fabrication drawings
• Perform socket fusion, butt fusion, and electrofusion on PP-R, PP-RCT, and HDPE systems
• Cut, face, align, heat, and join pipe and fittings
• Inspect and verify fused joints for quality and dimensional accuracy prior to spool completion
• Learn new fabrication and fitting processes and techniques
• Maintain consistent quality requirements
• Maintain an organized work area
• Track spool progress and report fabrication status to the shop foreman
• Work safely with rigging, lifting equipment, and other work permits
• Follow all HMC safety policies, PPE requirements, and applicable OSHA standards

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on pipefitting experience
• Ability to read isometric drawings and fabricate spools to dimensional tolerances
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites across Georgia
• Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certifications

• Work will primarily be performed at the shop in Alpharetta, GA
• Travel to other jobsites and shops in Cartersville, GA, and Gainesville, GA may be needed
