Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs wiring, apparatus, and control equipment.
• Follows diagrams or blueprints to ensure wiring is correct.
• Measures, cuts, bends, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
• Splices wires by stripping installation from terminal leads and soldering wire together.
• Connects wiring to panel box.
• Installs switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
• Installs and connects power cables and grounding leads to equipment.
• Performs wiring of standard, medium, and complex panels.
• Installs probes and transducers.
• Performs wiring of transformers.
• Ties in compressor panels.
• Wires defrost, lights, receptacles, fire-stats, and T-states.
• Tests circuit continuity.
• Performs hard wire testing.
• Assists in training Panel Worker I.
• Ensures OJT training documents are updated.
• Performs OJT training of newly hired associates.
• Works closely to accomplish associate development and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
