Overview
The PW800 Mobile Repair Team (MRT) Technician position at RTX offers an exciting opportunity for Engine Mechanics who enjoy travel. This role involves performing on-wing engine inspections, repairs, and installations for Pratt & Whitney customers both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Perform mobile repair team activities in U.S and non-U.S locations.
- Refurbish and return engines, modules, and components to service.
- Maintain availability status for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations.
- Provide hangar and field support work, including airframe interface and direct customer interaction.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain attention to detail.
- Conduct engine troubleshooting and diagnostics, including EEC software upgrades.
- Support all PWC Program activities as required.
- Support PW800 and legacy engine programs as needed.
- Be flexible to work after hours, on weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Travel up to 90%, both domestic and international, with extended hours.
Requirements
- Associates degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 6+ years' experience in engine parts inspection, refurbishment, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Active Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Ability to obtain a US Passport and international Visa.
- Current valid driver's license.

Additional Information
- This position is covered under the PWES FAA Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
- The selected candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment FAA drug screen.
- The home base for this role will be in the Savannah, GA area.
