Overview

PVH is a brand builder focused on creating desirable lifestyle brands like Calvin Klein and TOMMY HILFIGER. The Maintenance Tech C position is a semi-skilled role within the Warehouse and Distribution team, responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate troubleshooting skills in distribution center maintenance including electrical and mechanical areas.
• Apply training to projects and incidents to gain competence within the department.
• Integrate safe work practices learned from senior technicians into new tasks.
• Assist with battery changing and other tasks for junior technicians.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area during projects.
• Assist in the installation of electrical equipment and controls.
• Repair mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment.
• Test electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC controls and replace components as needed.
• Develop and present training sessions related to equipment operations.
• Operate and troubleshoot label application equipment.
• Assist in routine preventative maintenance inspections of equipment.
• Understand and use the computerized maintenance management system.
• Willingness to assist fellow associates and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical maintenance, or carpentry in a distribution environment.
• Must score a minimum of 50 percentile on the Bennet’s Mechanical Aptitude test.
• Requires High School Diploma or GED; technical school or training preferred.
• Exposure to PLC programming and controls in an automated environment.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and systematic problem-solving.
• Ability to crawl, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., climb, and work at heights up to 50 ft.
• Must distinguish different wire colors and stand for most of the shift.
• Familiarity with mathematics applied to industry and shop tools.
