BLM GROUP USA is a manufacturer that partners with innovative companies to support their growth and success. The Field Service Technician role involves performing equipment installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at customer sites while ensuring positive client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support the sales staff in servicing BLM equipment.
- Install new equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, and service of equipment for customers at the customer site.
- Document all service performed on the equipment and future service needs.
- Maintain excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate applicable BLM GROUP software capabilities to the customer.
- Prepare time sheets, service reports, and installation forms accurately and timely.
- Track expenses and complete expense reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment and operate within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines.
- Communicate with other departments as necessary.
- Work overtime as required by workload and customer necessity.
- Travel up to 100% as assigned by management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in a technical discipline preferred or comparable military experience.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in a similar technical position.
- At least one year of experience in a customer service role.
- Experience with Trumpf laser machine, Amada Laser, Mazak laser, or similar laser machinery.
