At TJX Companies, every day brings new opportunities for growth, exploration, and achievement. As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform advanced maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of facility equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, efficient and proper operation of Distribution Center equipment and systems.
• Complete tests, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications.
• Lead and guide other associates in safety procedures, installations and maintenance.
• Recommend and implement improvements to equipment, operations and procedures.
• Oversee and maintain repair, inventory and maintenance logs.
• Estimate costs, prepare requisitions and contact vendors for parts and service.
• Perform special projects or duties as assigned.
• Utilize basic electrical skills including use of a multi-meter.
• Perform general maintenance including painting, plumbing and facility upkeep.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of equipment.
• 3+ years of conveyor systems and power equipment experience.
• Knowledge of building codes, trade standards and general practices within the maintenance field.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC systems, water systems, building repairs and housekeeping procedures.

Additional Information

• Weekend Shift (Friday thru Sunday, 5:30am-6pm)
• Must be able to work alternate shifts and overtime as needed.
• Location: USA Marshalls Distribution Center Atlanta.
