Overview

Loenbro, LLC is seeking experienced fabricators/welders to join their Dickinson Fab Shop team. The ideal candidate will have a background in welding and will be responsible for completing jobs on time and on budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial oil refining piping and associated structures.
• Supervise and train fitter/welder helpers.
• Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
• Plan, lay-out, install and/or repair all types of pipe in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost-saving measures.
• Choose filler metals and construction material to complete assignments.
• Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems to determine hazards and need for adjustments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of fitting/welding principles experience.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Welding experience in the construction, mining or related industry or a two-year vocational-technical degree.
• Working knowledge of various welding codes and specifications.
• Familiarity with properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques.
• Experience with SMAW and FCAW welding processes.
