Overview

Worley is a global company specializing in energy, chemicals, and resources, headquartered in Australia. The Structural Welder position involves welding and assembling various structural forms, contributing to the delivery of projects and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding.
Uses various welding processes including Gas-Metal Arc and Shielded Metal Arc.
Bolts, clamps, and welds together metal components of products.
Manually applies filler rod to supply weld metal as needed.
Cleans or degreases weld joints or workplaces.
Repairs broken or cracked parts and fills holes.
Removes excess weld, defective weld material, slag, and spatter.
Preheats work pieces using hand torch or heating furnace.
Cuts metal plates or structural shapes.
Examines weld for bead size and other specifications.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience.
