Overview

The Cut-To-Length Helper position involves assisting Cut-To-Length Operators in safely loading steel onto machines, decoiling it, and cutting it into sheets. The role is part of Steel and Pipe Supply, which processes and sells steel to various large customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cut-To-Length Operators in loading steel onto machines.
• Decoiling steel and cutting it into sheets according to customer specifications.
• Follow all safety policies and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic literacy for reading instructions and using hand tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience using machinery, overhead cranes, and ground operated equipment preferred.
