Overview

Chemours is seeking a Process Mechanic to join their team at the La Porte Plant in La Porte, TX. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment while adhering to safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Follow all prescribed safety and environmental practices to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain, install, repair, and troubleshoot process equipment such as pumps and piping.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of documented industrial maintenance experience in Mechanical maintenance or minimum 2 years of documented industrial maintenance experience plus an Associate degree, public or military technical training school, or NCCER certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
