Overview

NOV Service Equipment Manufacturing is seeking a Shop Technician for their Air Center facility in Houston, Texas. The role involves the operation and maintenance of service equipment products while ensuring safety and efficiency in a factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, service, and completion of Service Equipment products.
• Fulfill demands from Supervisors/Management regarding daily operations.
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
• Collaborate with personnel from other departments and disciplines.
• Participate in action plans for new projects as defined by the supervisor.
• Maintain the work environment as outlined by the shop supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Sufficient training and experience with company products preferred.
• Hydraulic and mechanical experience required.
• Adherence to all HSEQ requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a lumbar back x-ray.
• Ability to work in a factory environment with high noise levels, vibration, fumes, dust, and odors.
• Ability to work in varying conditions, both inside and outside, including extreme temperatures.
