Overview

The Patcher position involves finishing and repairing concrete surfaces to specified textures, utilizing various concrete tools and machinery. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, aligning with the core values of the company.

Responsibilities

• Smooths and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete.
• Finishes concrete surfaces, wets, and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish.
• Removes rough defective spots from concrete surfaces and patches holes with fresh materials.
• Molds expansion joints and edges.
• Breaks up and repairs old concrete surfaces.
• Operates machinery including mechanized boom lifts with articulating baskets.
• Selects materials to match the task.
• Reads blueprints.
• Maintains Daily Time submittal and Equipment Daily Inspection Reports.
• Maintains equipment and tools to ensure long lasting use.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in the construction industry is required.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures is required.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be able to work in constant changes in weather and site conditions.
• Must be able to lift, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach as needed.
