ROSEN USA is seeking an API 653 Certified Tank Inspector to conduct inspections of above-ground storage tanks across Northern, Central America, and the Caribbean, emphasizing exceptional customer service and adherence to API 653 standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform API 653 inspections per customer’s scope of work and ROSEN’s internal processes.
• Prepare and finalize inspection reports.
• Assist customers and field personnel with project paperwork.
• Progress rapidly to advance to higher knowledge levels of basic tool functions.
• Conduct inspection work 70% of the time inside aboveground storage tanks.
• Take wall thickness measurements of tank structures and components.

Requirements

• Must hold an API 653 Certification.
• Extended periods of travel > 60-70%.
• Maintain a valid US Passport.
• 2-year Degree in Mechanical or Electronic discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Maintain a valid TWIC card (a plus).
• Computer Literacy – existing knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Prior NDT experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (a plus).
• API 653, 570 or 510 Certification.
• Successfully complete a drug screen test, background check, and physical performance evaluation including a vision exam as applicable.
