Overview

The Hose Tech position involves supporting the assembly work group by assembling hydraulic hoses and components to factory specifications for external customers. The role requires mechanical aptitude and attention to detail, with a focus on assisting industrial customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist industrial customers in assembling hydraulic hose parts or components.
• Cut, fit, and assemble hose and hose fittings, inspecting or testing completed assemblies.
• Maintain proper inventory by counting, reordering, or shipping materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED typically required.
• Knowledge of different hoses and thread configurations and basic hydraulic principles.
• Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to use various hand tools and shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of fluid power.
