Responsibilities

• Contribute to the cylinder requalification and repair process.
• Move industrial gas cylinders with care and precision using material handling equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading cylinders from delivery trucks.
• Perform cylinder cleaning and general maintenance regularly.
• Identify and sort cylinders for efficient retesting and handling.
• Champion the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Load cylinders onto vehicles with care or with equipment assistance.
• Transfer plant cylinders to different areas within the facility using a forklift.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to resolve loading issues.
• Replace pallet straps as necessary to maintain a tidy workspace.
• Complete required paperwork with attention to detail.
• Communicate equipment or facility defects to the supervisor.
• Report any accidents or injuries promptly.

Requirements

• Must be customer service oriented and able to interact professionally.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Possess basic mathematic and written skills.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year related experience and/or training preferred.

Additional Information

• Location: North Hollywood, CA - Coldwater - Retail shop.
• Shift: 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm.
• Pay: $20.00-24.50/hr. DOE.
• Benefits start after just 30 days of employment.
