Overview

Univar Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and repairs on various facilities and equipment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a company that values its employees and supports sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on the Tank Farm, Warehouse, facilities, equipment, forklifts, trailers, and trucks.
• Complete routine maintenance and tune-ups for trucks including oil changes and minor engine repairs.
• Maintain and repair all trailers.
• Perform manual warehouse duties including painting, rack identification, and replacement of light fixtures.
• Trim trees and complete outdoor maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Coordinate the facility maintenance program to ensure all maintenance is completed routinely.
• Complete various welding and fabrication projects.
• Conduct general Tank Farm maintenance including pump and hose inspections.
• Research non-standard maintenance and repairs requiring the purchase of materials or employment of outside contractors.
• Monitor progress of outside contractors to ensure timely and proper repairs.
• Provide guidance and assistance to less senior maintenance workers.
• Serve on the company’s in-plant or off-site emergency response team.
• Perform required testing, repairs, and re-certification of IBCs.
• Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Requirements

• The ability to read, write, count, understand, and speak English.
