The Finisher role involves coordinating metal finishing processes to ensure smooth operations in a production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify parts from blueprints to verify proper tagging.
  • Use simple material handling equipment such as powered walking stackers and pallet trucks.
  • Utilize measuring equipment like tape measures.
  • Learn proper grinding procedures to smooth welds and remove scratches.
  • Hang parts weighing up to 200 lbs. on an overhead conveyor.
  • React to system alarms and perform basic sanding procedures.
  • Sustain a continuous work pace for extended periods.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Working knowledge of shop math.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures.

Additional Information

  • Work hours are from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday to Friday, with overtime on Saturdays.
