Overview
The Mechanical Systems Reliability Operator-Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability of mechanical systems by installing, servicing, and repairing industrial equipment. The role requires troubleshooting mechanical issues to maintain high uptime and involves both independent work and collaboration with a maintenance team.
Responsibilities
- Own reliability across mechanical systems by installing, servicing, and repairing diverse industrial equipment.
- Pinpoint root causes and resolve mechanical problems to maintain high uptime.
- Operate machinery during repair and assist with operational duties as required.
- Alternate between independent assignments and collaboration with a seasoned maintenance team.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of assessment test(s).
- 1+ year hands-on experience or formal education in print reading and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, with overtime as needed.
Additional Information
- Follow all safety procedures at all times.
- Use required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and boots with metatarsal protection.
- Expect industrial conditions that can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, or noisy.
