Austin Industrial is an industry leader in self-perform maintenance, construction, and soft craft services for over 60 years, serving various industrial sectors across the U.S. The Sand Blaster role involves preparing surfaces for painting and applying paint using various tools.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and receive instructions verbally.
• Prepare surfaces by removing dirt, oil, grease, old paint, and smoothing cracks.
• Work at heights without fear.
• Fill cavities and dents with putty for a smooth surface.
• Select and mix coating liquids to achieve desired colors.
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders for tasks above ground level.
• Apply paint using a spray gun, brush, or roller.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No minimum education requirements.
• 4 years of Journeyman level experience.
• NCCER certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
