Overview

Archer Western Construction, LLC is currently seeking a Common Laborer for the Tom Taylor Phase 3B Project in Lewisville, Texas. The Common Laborer will perform tasks involving physical labor on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects, and may operate hand and/or power tools as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
• Work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
• Load and unload construction supplies around the worksite manually and with the use of equipment.

Requirements

• 1 year verifiable experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
