Overview

Saulsbury Industries is seeking a Pipefitter to perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on process facilities and systems, including high pressure steam pipes, pumps, and boilers in Pecos, TX. The role requires working with various tools and may involve leading helpers in related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and equipment.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install piping for various systems.
• Interpret sketches, plans, and specifications to complete tasks.
• Install and repair piping systems using various joint types.
• Conduct lockout and tag procedures for equipment safety.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and structural integrity.
• Bend and cut pipes using appropriate tools and machines.
• Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts.
• Perform manual tasks involving moving materials and tools.
• Complete paperwork for repair and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other crafts as needed.
• Secure pipes to structures using brackets and hangers.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in layout, installation, and maintenance tasks.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
