Overview

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking to hire exceptional Pipefitters who can provide maintenance field expertise to support ongoing operations at the Lake Charles Manufacturing Complex.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance field expertise to support operations.
• Work with copper and stainless-steel tubing.
• Fabricate threaded pipe.
• Estimate and procure materials necessary for jobs.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, isometric drawings, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with bolting procedures, torquing, and gasket installation best practices.

Requirements

• Graduate apprentice or vocational technical school plus 4 years industrial experience as a journeyman level Pipefitter OR 8 years of industrial experience as a journeyman level Pipefitter.
• Supervisory and/or planning experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credentials Card).
• Ability to work day and night, and be available for overtime.
• Ability to climb ladders/work in high locations.
• Must successfully complete assessments, background checks, and medical exams.
