Overview

Atwell, LLC is a leader in the consulting, engineering, and construction services industry, seeking a Structural Designer with experience in the Oil and Gas industry. The role involves executing and coordinating structural design efforts for various pipeline and facility projects.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement structural design input from the Lead Structural Engineer for oil and gas facilities.
• Develop detailed construction documents for steel and concrete structures used in oil and gas infrastructure.
• Revise drawings based on redlines and ensure proper coordination and updates.
• Perform periodic field visits to verify existing conditions and support as-built documentation.
• Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain, update, and organize structural detail libraries and base files.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Drafting & Design Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and structural plan sets for oil and gas facilities.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (versions 2021, 2022, or 2023) is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using AutoCAD and/or CADWorx for industrial structural or piping design.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
