Overview

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking an Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Structures Representative/Bridge Engineer to make a significant impact in the Transportation sector by overseeing project structures and ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the structures portion of the project to ensure safe and efficient progress.
• Verify compliance with Caltrans Standards, Specifications, and Construction Manuals through inspection and documentation.
• Evaluate project structures construction for adherence to plans and specifications.
• Report directly to the Resident Engineer and/or Structure Representative, providing technical expertise.
• Read and interpret project plans, shop drawings, specifications, and permits.
• Generate and review contract change orders and requests for information related to structure items.
• Review contractor submittals for structure items and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate and perform quality testing of structure work.
• Function and operate effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• EIT certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in roadway or highway inspection, including bridge structures.
• At least 2 years of experience as a lead worker in structure construction and inspection.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CALTRANS roadway/bridge construction projects.
• At least 3 years of experience with CALTRANS practices and procedures.
