Walter P Moore is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Construction Engineering team, requiring at least 6 years of experience in steel design and related fields. The role involves serving clients on major projects both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Join the dynamic Construction Engineering team at Walter P Moore.
• Work on steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis.
• Serve clients including architects, developers, institutions, and contractors.
• Demonstrate proactivity and a strong customer service attitude.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in steel design, steel connection design, and erection sequencing analysis.
• Demonstrated career growth that includes supervision of junior staff.
• Master’s in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural strongly preferred.
• E. license within your residing state, or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus.
• SAP 2000 modeling experience required.
• Proactive with strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
