The Staff Registered Engineer - Structural position involves supporting design engineering and analysis for transmission line projects, contributing to significant infrastructure developments.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineering and analysis on transmission scopes.
• Assist with large 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects.
• Collect and assimilate data for engineering work.
• Perform research and prepare calculations in accordance with standards.
• Develop recommendations for equipment and materials.
• Maintain positive client relations through effective communication.
• Assist with business development activities.
• Function as a technical specialist with minimal supervision.
• Prepare complex engineering deliverables and calculations.
• Coordinate with internal/external team members on projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Strong PLS CADD experience and proficiency.
• Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with utility-scale electrical transmission systems.
• Basic structural steel and concrete experience using 3D analysis software.
