Overview

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is seeking an Assembler Tester B for the 2nd Shift, with core hours from 1:45pm to 11:45pm. The role involves assembling and testing mechanical assemblies for various aerospace customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and top assemblies.
  • Organize data and prepare test reports.
  • Perform lock wire/safety wire and nameplate.
  • Conduct visual inspections and handle defective items per procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools such as pliers, wrenches, and soldering iron.
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and testing schematics.
  • Prepare materials including lapping surfaces with proper tooling techniques.
  • Identify and assist in process improvements.
  • Perform acceptance tests on various units.
  • Determine the need for Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
  • Act as department representative during customer audits.
  • Use test equipment for in-process testing and final Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years in assembly within a manufacturing, aerospace, or military environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of testing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical assemblies.
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by export regulations.
  • Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA.

  • Position is for the 2nd Shift with core hours from 1:45pm to 11:45pm.
  • No relocation benefit is offered.
