At Parker Aerospace, we develop innovative solutions for reliable and sustainable flight. As an Assembly & Test Operator on the 3rd Shift, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing components in a team environment, contributing to our mission of engineering breakthroughs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine assembling/testing, lock wiring, and final product detailing functions.
  • Hand deburr components as required.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated according to the calibration schedule.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
  • Record test results on data forms.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality directives.
  • Observe all safety rules and maintain a FOD-free work area.
  • May operate an automatic weld machine.
  • Perform other related responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
  • Effective English verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
