Overview

As a Body Shop Technician II at Penske, you will perform diagnostic procedures and repairs on trucks and trailers, including collision repairs and some major repairs under supervision. This role offers opportunities for career advancement and access to industry-leading technology and training.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of truck and trailer repair and maintenance.
• Overhaul, adjust, replace, and repair motor truck and trailer equipment.
• Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units.
• Perform all levels of Truck Collision Repair services.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order.
• Maintain work area appearance and safety.
• Road test vehicles when necessary.
• Perform duties with little or no supervision in a timely manner.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 6 years practical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in truck and trailer repair/refinish required.
• Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to comply with safety and maintenance policies.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and complete background investigation and drug screening.

• Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 1:30PM - 10:00PM
• Shift differential of $2.50/hour for second shift and weekend work.
