Overview

Steel Tech USA is a company that utilizes advanced engineering platforms to design cold-formed steel structures with high precision and reliable structural performance. The Structural Engineer will design and analyze cold-formed steel framing systems to ensure safety, durability, and code compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze cold-formed steel framing systems including studs, panels, trusses, and wall assemblies.
  • Perform structural calculations and load analysis.
  • Review engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and construction teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Use CAD tools and engineering software to develop detailed plans.
  • Support continuous improvement of engineering workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
  • Experience with cold-formed steel design, prefabricated systems, or industrialized construction is beneficial.
  • Skills in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering.
  • Skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations.
  • Skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
