Job Description

Overview

Our client is hiring a Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee) to support customers throughout the region. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent benefits, paid time off, and a company-provided vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and accepting job packages
  • Performing in-process inspections
  • Monitoring contractor quality-control systems
  • Witnessing hydrostatic tests
  • Reviewing and signing required documentation
  • Communicating professionally with clients and contractors

Requirements

  • Experience with high-pressure boilers
  • Experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting boilers or pressure vessels
  • Working knowledge of ASME and NBIC Codes
  • Strong communication skills and professional integrity
  • Navy Nuclear (MMN, EMN, ETN) preferred
  • Welders with NDT/NDI experience (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT exposure) preferred
  • Industrial maintenance or utilities technicians preferred
  • Boiler operators or stationary engineers preferred
  • QA/QC technicians in fabrication or heavy industry preferred
  • Experience with pressure vessels, steam systems, or industrial mechanical equipment preferred
  • Risk survey or inspection experience preferred
  • National Board Commission (if already held) preferred
