Overview
Our client is hiring a Pressure Equipment Compliance Inspector (Trainee) to support customers throughout the region. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent benefits, paid time off, and a company-provided vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and accepting job packages
- Performing in-process inspections
- Monitoring contractor quality-control systems
- Witnessing hydrostatic tests
- Reviewing and signing required documentation
- Communicating professionally with clients and contractors
Requirements
- Experience with high-pressure boilers
- Experience operating, maintaining, or inspecting boilers or pressure vessels
- Working knowledge of ASME and NBIC Codes
- Strong communication skills and professional integrity
- Navy Nuclear (MMN, EMN, ETN) preferred
- Welders with NDT/NDI experience (VT, PT, MT, UT, RT exposure) preferred
- Industrial maintenance or utilities technicians preferred
- Boiler operators or stationary engineers preferred
- QA/QC technicians in fabrication or heavy industry preferred
- Experience with pressure vessels, steam systems, or industrial mechanical equipment preferred
- Risk survey or inspection experience preferred
- National Board Commission (if already held) preferred
