Overview

U-Haul is seeking a Welding Robot Programmer to work with advanced robotic welding technology, contributing to the production of truck and trailer parts. This role is essential for ensuring efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process while offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate robotic welding machines, specifically ABB Robots.
• Develop and optimize welding programs and parameters to maximize efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic welding systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the engineering and fabrication teams to plan, execute, and refine welding projects.
• Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to hand MIG weld as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Robot Welder with hands-on programming capabilities.
• Experience with robotic welding systems is required.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, robotic programming, and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to travel for machine-specific training.
