Overview

Landmark is a leading provider of engineering, construction, and asset management services for storage solutions in various markets. The Field Tank Welder position involves performing welding tasks related to the steel phase of construction while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform SMAW welding in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Conduct GTAW, MCAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding in various positions.
• Weld FCAW on ceramic backer.
• Read and interpret WPS.
• Weld and pass X Rays on 1" thick plate according to AWWA D100 D107 D1.1 codes.
• Arc gouge in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
• Perform oxy/acetylene or oxy/propylene torch work.
• Understand and read drawings and/or blueprints.
• Work at heights up to 200'.
• Maintain a strong safety knowledge and culture.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of similar experience with progressive responsibility.
• Ability to travel frequently and work at heights.
• Experience with OSHA and other regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Familiarity with discipline-specific industry standards such as API, ASME, AWWA, NACE, ACI.
• Valid Driver License.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
