Job Description
Overview
The Welder position involves performing various types of welding on different materials while ensuring precision and safety. Candidates should have relevant experience and the ability to work in diverse environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG/TIG/ARC welding on aluminum, stainless, and cast iron in all positions.
- Interpret blueprints, align workpieces using jigs/vises, and ensure quality via inspections.
- Operate torches, power tools, forklifts, and Lulls; perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
- Maintain PPE standards, monitor weld quality, and report machinery faults.
Requirements
- 2+ years of welding experience or equivalent education.
- 6 months of aluminum experience or an 80%+ score on an onsite test.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in uncontrolled indoor/outdoor environments.
- Proficiency in Safety/First Aid and blueprint reading.
