Overview

Austin Industrial is an industry leader providing maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to various industrial sectors across the U.S. They are seeking a Combo Welder with the ability to join metal parts using various welding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Join metal parts as specified by layout, blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions.
• Weld 2" sch 10 GTAW and 2" heavy wall carbon steel GTAW.
• Perform FCAW and TIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Unite pipes from torch to tanks of oxygen and fuel gas.
• Perform full penetration welds with SMAW and flux core welding applications.
• Start and complete x-ray welds using GTAW and SMAW processes.
• Check the weakness of work pieces and measure them to ensure specifications are met.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment while following safety regulations.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Perform tasks requiring full mobility in various positions.

Requirements

• Must be a Journeyman Industrial Combo-Welder with 3-5 years of experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time job opportunity working 40 hours a week.
