Overview

Join a leading manufacturer specializing in custom and commercial fire trucks, including various types of vehicles. This role involves performing advanced welding and fabrication tasks to support first responders and save lives.

Responsibilities

• Select appropriate welding parameters based on Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
• Fit, tack, and weld components in proper positions
• Perform welds according to 2G, 3G, or 6G configurations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
• Set up and secure parts using fixtures, clamps, and layout tools
• Ensure weld quality, including size, continuity, and appearance standards
• Inspect and verify work to meet dimensional and structural requirements
• Maintain ownership of all completed weld quality

Requirements

• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
• Experience with structural welding (steel and aluminum)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and positions (2G/3G/6G)
• Solid work ethic, reliable attendance, and positive attitude

• Monday – Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Optional Overtime: Fridays available
• This is a fully onsite position in Ocala, FL
• This is a Permanent position based out of Ocala, FL
