Overview

Richard Construction Inc. (RCI) is seeking experienced Industrial Mechanical Welders and Combination Welders to weld, fabricate, and assist in the installation of industrial piping systems. The positions require various welding skills and certifications, with multiple levels based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Selects equipment and plans layouts, assembly, and welding of pipe applying knowledge of geometry and welding techniques.
• Layout, position, align, cut, assemble, and fit metal components together in various body positions.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts using various welding techniques.
• Welds metal materials to piping systems and associated equipment using appropriate procedures.
• Identify all equipment for job and process.
• Identify all safety risks and requirements.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g conditions at Welder II position and higher.
• Must be able to Stick and TIG weld on pipe at Welder II position and higher.
• Must have current applicable welding certification with RCI or be able to pass a weld test successfully.
• Must have required welding experience for the welding classification.
• Must meet all physical requirements.
• Must have all required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for position.
• Must be able to regularly and reliably show up at the assigned job site.
• Must meet all safety and security requirements at the assigned job site.
