Overview

We are seeking a Certified Welder with hands-on experience operating automated welding systems, specifically Novarc welding robots. The ideal candidate will have strong robotic welding knowledge and a commitment to quality, safety, and production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Novarc welding robots to meet production and quality standards.
  • Set up welding parameters, fixtures, and tooling for automated welding processes.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Adjust programs and welding variables as needed to maintain weld quality.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues to maintenance/engineering.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality teams to improve welding efficiency.

Requirements

  • Certified Welder (AWS or equivalent certification required).
  • 3+ years of experience operating Novarc welding robots.
  • Ability to work 1st or 3rd shift as required.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes (GMAW/FCAW/SAW preferred, as applicable).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
  • Proven track record of producing consistent, high-quality welds.

Additional Information

  • Willingness to work weekends or overtime as production demands require.
