Overview

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a full-time Industrial Welder for the 2nd shift in Sherman, TX. The role involves operating welding equipment, troubleshooting machine problems, and ensuring quality documentation on parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, understand and proficiently operate all welding equipment.
• Troubleshoot various and appropriate machine problems.
• ID and tag shop orders with the product and retrieve/enter data into the system.
• Ensure quality and proper documentation on all parts.
• Maintain components and supplies as required to operate efficiently.
• Weld components based on print specifications.
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year TIG and MIG welding experience.
• Must have a High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Candidates must currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX.
• Eaton will not support any immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• Preferred: AWS Weld Certified.
• Preferred: Minimum of 2-3 years TIG/MIG Welding experience.
• Preferred: Minimum of one (1) year utilizing blueprints and using simple measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Additional Information

• Core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm.
• Hourly rate is $22.71/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential.
• Requires PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, leather gloves, and hearing protection.
