Overview

The Machine Operator is responsible for following safety procedures, operating assembly machines, and performing welding tasks. The role involves assembling attachments, inspecting finished products, and conducting maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and meet attendance requirements.
• Assemble attachments in preparation for welding.
• Load completed assemblies into drums.
• Set-up and operate assembly machine.
• Set-up and operate various assembly welders.
• Weld attachments to chain or into sub-assembly using welders.
• Read several types of manufacturing prints.
• Inspect chain, attachments and finished assemblies.
• Perform preventative and minor maintenance.
