Overview

Inventive Group is a Mountain Home, Idaho-based manufacturer and distributor seeking a Welder to join their weld shop. This hands-on role involves daily job rotation and a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Gmaw-P welding with daily job rotation across the weld shop.
• Set up welding machines and follow Welding Procedure Specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to meet precise welding requirements.
• MIG weld steel and aluminum components to specification.
• Clamp, tack-weld, grind, and fit component parts for welding.
• Sustain 6-S standards in your work area and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Flag problems early and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Prior MIG welding experience preferred; motivated entry-level candidates will be considered.
• Able to read basic blueprints and/or technical drawings.
• Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) a plus.
• Detail-oriented with pride in clean, precise work.
• A team player with reliable attendance and a willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Additional Information

• Full-Time position located in Mountain Home, ID, On-Site.
• Work schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am to 5:00 pm MST.
• 40 hours/week.
