API Heat Transfer

Overview

API Heat Transfer is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Aluminum MIG & TIG Welder to join their team and contribute to the production of high-performance heat transfer products. The role requires precision and craftsmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Weld aluminum components using MIG and TIG techniques with accuracy and consistency
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Set up and operate welding equipment and tools
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Support continuous improvement in welding processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of aluminum MIG & TIG welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Welding certification preferred (e.g., AWS D1.2)
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
