Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. This position involves installing, assembling, and welding piping systems for industrial applications, requiring daily travel to job sites and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Cut, thread, and weld pipes according to specifications.
• Assemble and install piping systems for tanks and related equipment.
• Inspect and test completed systems for leaks and compliance.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Travel to project sites as required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, with experience in welding on pressure vessel and tank systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Additional Information

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
• Work hours are typically from 6am to 4:30pm depending on location and project.
• This is a fully onsite position.
