Overview

At Dearing Compressor & Pump, the QC Senior Inspector ensures products meet quality standards, specifications, and regulatory compliance by leading inspection activities, auditing processes, and mentoring junior inspectors, all within a collaborative and people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product inspections at different stages of the production process.
• Ensure inspections, tests, and internal audits meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Identify, document, and analyze non-conformances and quality issues.
• Determine root causes of product defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure welding is performed by qualified welders according to approved procedures.
• Monitor weld procedures, production testing, and general parameters.
• Perform Visual, Magnetic Particle, and Dye Penetrant Testing as required.
• Witness weld tests for Welder Performance Qualification in accordance with relevant standards.
• Perform layout and final dimensional inspection of fabricated components.

Requirements

• 5 - 7 years of experience in QA/QC inspection or quality management in manufacturing or a related industry.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Advanced knowledge interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Must have a clear driving record and pass an annual visual acuity exam.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
