Terex Utilities is seeking a Weekend Welder in Huron, SD, to join their inclusive work culture focused on quality and innovation. The position requires adherence to safety policies and the ability to operate various welding machines and tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures.
• Operate various types of welding machines on different materials.
• Use stationary and portable grinders and pneumatic chipping hammers.
• Operate material handling equipment to move parts and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work from drawings and templates.
• Comply with TEREX Utilities quality standards.
• Follow and promote The Terex Way Values.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
• Perform other functions as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma and/or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and 40-100 lbs. with assistance.
• Possess good mechanical aptitude.
• Capable of using most hand tools.
• Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Function as a team member and contribute to group goals.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate welding equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

• Work schedule is Fri-Sun from 6am-6:30pm.
