Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping and equipment for various systems.
• Interpret sketches, plans, and specifications to accomplish tasks.
• Install and repair piping systems using various joint methods.
• Perform lockout and tag procedures for equipment safety.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and structural integrity.
• Bend, cut, and thread pipes using appropriate tools.
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective components.
• Manually move materials and tools as needed.
• Complete paperwork documenting repair and maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with other crafts as required.
• Secure pipes to structures using brackets and clamps.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures in operating facilities.
