Overview

We are seeking a skilled welder and fabricator for an hourly role at our plant. The ideal candidate will excel both independently and within a team environment, demonstrating a strong work ethic and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the fabrication and welding of industrial equipment, fixtures, and other custom components.
• Interpret layouts, blueprints, drawings, and measurements.
• Versatile in all aspects of welding, including MIG, TIG, stick, plasma, brazing, and soldering.
• Cutting and assembling materials.
• Perform torch cutting.
• Use and maintain welding equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper PPE.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks with high quality and precision.
• Work proactively to drive process improvements and achieve results.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
• Maintain a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven welding capabilities and a solid operational and technical background.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Action and goal-oriented mindset.
• Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
• Professional certifications from an accredited school.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years as a welder/fabricator.
• Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• 5+ years Aluminum welding experience.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment, machinery and procedures.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Attention to detail.
• Problem solving and time management skills.
• Effectively communicate.

Additional Information

• The typical work area is within the factory and welding area.
• There are times where outside work may be required.
• Wearing of safety shoes, goggles, hoods with protective lenses, and other devices designed to prevent burns and eye injuries is required.
