Job Description

Overview

The Welder position requires 3+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, focusing on fabricating, installing, assembling, and repairing components both in the shop and in the field. The role involves collaboration with various technicians and supervisors, along with providing guidance and training to others.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding repairs on FRAC and COIL TUBING equipment.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment to maximize safe and productive operations.
  • Read and interpret schematics.
  • Maintain welding consumables and supply stock levels, specifying and re-ordering as necessary.
  • Document repairs via the work order system.
  • Help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform remote and on-location field repairs as required, working in all weather conditions.
  • Participate in safety meetings and provide feedback on equipment modifications and specifications.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of welding procedures for steel and aluminum.
  • Knowledge of Coil Tubing and Fracturing equipment is considered an asset.
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to perform duties independently.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize issues.
