They are seeking a Combo Welder for a maintenance position in Cantonment, FL, responsible for laying out, fitting, and welding various components to assemble structural forms.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components.
• Assemble structural forms such as tanks, pressure vessels, and pipe.
• Select equipment and plan layout for assembly and welding.
• Position, align, and fit components together.
• Secure parts in position for welding using bolts, clamps, and tack welds.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using various processes.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Use cutting torch to cut materials and demo existing assemblies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in specified skill.
• Must be able to pass a weld test before being hired.
• Must be certified as a welder.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation required.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others.

Additional Information

• Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman.
• Employee may be required to climb ladders and scaffolds.
• Lifting 30 to 50 pounds may be required.
