Lincoln Electric is a leader in industrial machinery and technology, providing innovative solutions for manufacturing and maintaining vital equipment. The Welder position involves working with the Manager and coworkers to ensure welding jobs meet specifications and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment using safe work habits.
• Inspect welds and work pieces to acceptance of the standard they are working to.
• Measure work pieces with straight edges, tape measure, scale, or templates to ensure proper fit.
• Weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, invar or other specified alloys per their qualifications and the applicable WPS.
• Clamp, hold, tack-weld, brace, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Lift or move materials and finished products using overhead cranes / hi-lo.
• Read drawings and weld symbols.
• Maintain continuity among work shifts by adhering to required documentation and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience.
